Ever wanted to show somebody where we hike or biked last campout?  Now you can see our activities on Google Earth!

 

You'll have to install Google Earth on your computer (here).  Once installed, make sure My Places is highlighted under the Places menu on the left.  Click on Add-> Network Link from the toolbar.  Give it a name (Troop 617 Campouts) and enter this for the link:

 

http://www.bsatroop617.org/troop617places.kmz

 

It should show up under My Places.  Select File->Save -> My Places.  From now on, it should be there when you open Google Earth!

 

If anybody has tracks from other Troop activities, please send them to me and I'll add them to the file.
